The new, full-body security scanners being introduced at airports pose a greater skin cancer risk than governments have previously acknowledged and are especially dangerous to children and pregnant women, a new study has found.

Should the public take the TSA at its word?

The TSA debuts its new full body scanners at SeaTac Airport this week. The agency says the scanners are safe, effective and won’t show more than you want. But at least one watchdog believes the public shouldn’t just believe the TSA when it comes to this new technology.
